    Hi…

    There is a great feature in the admin which allows me to only display 1 event of a recurring event (by checking the ‘group occurrences’ box).

    Is there a way to do this within the shortcode? Currently, the shortcode is displaying all events and I can’t seem to replicate this checkbox’s funtionality.
    currently using:

    echo do_shortcode('[eo_events event_category="'.$thecat.'" numberposts="3"]<div class="related-event-thumb"><a href="%event_url%">%event_thumbnail%</a></div><div class="related-event-desc"><a href="%event_url%">%event_title%</a> <br/> %start{jS M Y}%, <br/> %event_venue%</div> [/eo_events]');

    Yup, you can use the attribute group_events_by='series' 🙂
