    Is there any chance you can add a way to simply copy or duplicate an event so that it retains the same settings i.e. times, location etc? This would be slightly different to a recurring event insofar as it would enable the new event to be listed as a separate event so that new comments could be posted as it is a new post, but would make it quicker and easier to re-list an event that has the same features as a previous event.

    In that example they want to vary the time over different occurrences, but the same principle works.

    Alternatively if you actually want to duplicate and then make changes to an event, you could use the free Duplicate Post plugin which works for events too.

    Thanks for the alternative Dario, that works perfectly (great plugin in its own right)

    The alternative method stephen referenced doesn’t work for me.

    Hi Bevels,

    I think the my method probably didn’t work because of a bug in the break-occurrence feature ( http://wordpress.org/support/topic/possible-bug-with-deleting-andor-breaking-events-from-recurring ) – I suspect this was fixed in 2.5.1 which addressed a bug with deleting a specific occurrence. If not, this will be fixed in 2.5.2.
