Booking reference id number

    Im wondering how the booking reference ID number is generated and if there is any way to alter it e.g. can it be started from a certain number and proceed in a sequential fashion?

    currently it seems to proceed in an ascending order but not sequentially, and I have a six digit reference number when ive seen various three and four digit numbers in screenshots on the forums and documentation.

    Hi Joe,

    My apologies you haven’t had a reply sooner. The booking ID is the ID column in the wp_posts table. So it’s incremental, but it would be shared with posts, pages and any other plug-in that’s using that table.

    Unfortunately the reference number can’t be changed.
