    Hi there,
I have been really impressed with your plugin so far, but have hit an issue which I was hoping you could help with.
I have an Event setup which is currently taking Free registrations. I have capped the number of registrations to 700and have so far taken 216 registrations in a couple of hours.
The system seems to be working, however, when a user registers there is no change to the Bookings list until I open the admin confirmation email and view the Booking and hit save.
So far I have had to open 216 emails and open the Booking and hit save.
Now, if this is the only way to do it, fair enough, but I am sure that this is meant to be a moderately automated system, isnt it?
Also, once I have hit save and the information is showing in the Bookings list, if I try to Confirm the booking, it disappears from the list and I can find no trace of it anywhere.
Is there anything you can do to help me get this sorted?
    Thanks,
    Paddy

Also, after I have hit save in the Booking, the default status of the booking seems to be ‘Pending’.
As I mentioned before, if I confirm the booking, it disappears from the list… Is there any way I can see the confirmed bookings?there doesn’t appear to any obvious location…?
    Please help…

    Hi Paddy,

Free bookings should be automatically confirmed and confirmed bookings visible on the bookings admin screen (unless you have filtered by an a different status).

I suspect that the problems you are having are a result of a plugin conflict. Its not clear what would cause this to happen, but an educated guess would be that its caused by a permission / role plugin. It could be preventing the booking changing status when the ‘current user’ is the booked and could be suppressing confirmed bookings because this is a custom status. That’s just a guess but I would recommend temporarily deactivating other plugins to see if the problem persists (just check if confirmed bookings become visible).

If that’s not a viable option, I could make a local clone of your site on which I can attempt to replicate the issue.

    Hey Stephen,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Sadly, its not really viable for me to disable any plugins as the site is live and the campaign is actually active at the moment.
It would be very cool if you could try to make a clone of the site and see if you can replicate it.
How do you want to go about this?
    Best,
    Paddy

This turned out to be a conflict with Restaurant Reservations, and fix shall be in the next release.

If you encounter this problem in the mean time, please get in touch.
