Hello,
We have been using the Event Organiser Plugin for many years now to sell tickets for off-road Segway tours in our local community. We sell a maximum of 8 tickets per tour. We would like to limit ticket purchasing options to a minimum of 2 as long as no tickets have been sold, but enable the option to only purchase one ticket, if at least 2 have been sold beforehand.
So, to sum up:
- If none of the initial 8 have been sold yet, customers can only purchase a minimum of 2 tickets.
- If tickets have been sold, it should be possible to buy 1 again.
We know it is not the most elegant solution, but it would help us already.
Also, as a tangentially related question:
Would it be possible to have a sort of “dynamic discount” , where buying multiple tickets provides people with a discount:
- 1 Ticket costs the base price of 50€.
- 2 Tickets would cost 5% less each, for a total of 95€
- 3 tickets would cost 7% less each, for a total of 139.5€
- and so on.

Yes this is possible with a bit of code. I’ll send a proof of concept over to you, but it mind need some tweaking.
