    Hi there,
I use your EO plugin a lot for my hyperlocal website myhessle.com
It’s been great and has helped to collate a lot of local events.

One thing I would love it to do would automatically is to post to twitter (as a minimum) at a set time before the event.

Looking at the ‘plugin’ option you are looking to create it may be something that could be added via a that..

It would be great to create a social media ‘campaign’ that could be applied to an event – e.g. tweet each day at xx o’clock and 1hour before the event.
That way the event will get maximum publicity.

    Hi Adam,

The problem with this – while its doable with the current API – is that it requires a proper cron job. WordPress’ implementation of cron jobs – which though supported regardless of the server – would mean triggering social media announcements reliably at a set time is impossible.
