    Anyone know how to hide/remove these?

    The plug-in doesn’t add ‘suggested events’ – I think these might be added by the theme.

    I’m assuming you don’t mean this Sigma theme: https://wordpress.org/themes/sigma/ (that doesn’t display suggested events either…)
