I am using the Event Organiser Stripe Gateway.

When selecting a country in settings, Japan is not an option, so the postal code input field when taking a card payment with Stripe is incorrect because the format is 123-4567 for Japan.

Is there a way to hide the postal code input?

I apologize for bothering you during your busy schedule, but I would appreciate a reply.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Ikeyama,

In my tests Stripe didn’t ask for a postcode, however it should request the format of the country associated with the card number, not the plug-in setting. The country option for the Stripe settings in the plug-in doesn’t do very much apart from later the card icons that appear.

Stripe have the following test card for a Japan issuer: 4000003920000003 (see https://docs.stripe.com/testing). This will only work in test/sandbox mode.

    Dear Stephen

    Thank you for your reply.
I tried the method you gave me and the zip code was not displayed, so the issue was resolved.
    It was very helpful.
    Thank you very much.
