I have a state filter in place for the posterboard. It lists all the states just fine, and when I click the link it filters the list correctly to that state only.

However, if I click another displayed state I then get no results. The only way to get any results again, is to go back to the first state I clicked and then click the next state I need to view.

Is that how it should work? It seems a bit odd for me, so what a customer would think I am not so sure.

I see there has been some back and fourth about the posterboard, but I cannot see any similar issues.

Also, I have adjusted the css for the posterboard to fit my theme, and in IE and Safari it all looks great, but Chrome and Firefox do not load the changes at all. I have tried this from a couple of machines and the results are the same.

Is it just a cache thing?

I am nearly finished with setting up now, so should be out of your hair pretty soon!! Thanks for all the help though.

    Hi Chris,

The venue (and venue address) filters have inherited their behaviour from the category and tag filters, (of which an event can have multiple). In that respect it’s intended behaviour – selecting a second state indicates you want events that occur in both states.

That said events have only one venue (and so also venue address) so this allows the user to easily select a impossibly satisfied filter. This probably needs revisiting, but any change would be low priority.

Regarding the CSS issue, there’s no reason I can think of that would cause CSS to load in IE and Safari but not Chrome and Firefox. Do you have a link to the page – and what changes did you make (and where)?

    Stephen,
Thanks for that with the posterboard filters, I will just have to live with that.

The test page I have is at http://www.etikx.co.uk/trial/. I have adjusted the style.css sheet in the posterboard forder within that plug in. The changes are to show a red border around each entry, with a couple of other adjustments. That shows exactly as it should in IE and Safari, but Chrome and Firefox still show the default template colours for the posterboard and no borders.

I thought it would be a cache thing but I have tried again just now from a friends PC and Chrome is still the default.

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

The red border appears for me. (On Chrome and Firefox), so I’m not sure what to suggest.
