Hey I purchased the pro version of this plugin and like what is on offer. But I am starting to find issues pop up. First I had the issues of it overiding the styling of features from my theme. I have managed to sort that out. But now I am having issues with it conflicting with buddypress plugin. As my website is a community I have a real need for the buddypress Plugin and I cant be running both as this causes server errors and even had a fatal error when trying to re activate it. I am not sure exactly what it is about the other plugin that it doesnt like. Its a shame because this plugin cost me more than the theme I am using. Any suggestions?? The other plugin is Buddypress version 1.8.1 and it doesnt like event organiser or the pro add on.

    Hi Jason,

I’ve just tried Event Organiser Pro and BuddyPress and there wasn’t any problem activating them. What issues are you coming across? Have you tried setting WP_DEBUG to true in your wp-config.php (http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress) – this will display various error messages from your plug-ins and themes and will help identify the cause of any conflicts. Then we can work to try and resolve them.

That is strange because If I have buddypress and The Event organiser plugins I cant do anything. I couldnt even get into my dashboard without errors. I had to go into my cpanel and delete the buddypress plugin completely to be allowed back in. The strange part is that it is all perfectly fine until it conflicts with the event plugin.

That is strange. Do you get any error notices if WP_DEBUG is set to true in your wp-config.php? I can take a look at this myself and try and resolve any conflicts. I’d need admin & FTP access to the site. If you’d like me to take a look, drop an email at: http://wp-event-organiser.com/contact with those details.
