    Hello,

I love this plug in but having no luck with the events listing in the sidebar widget linking to the event details. I get a blank page instead.

    Home page: http://www.kricklewoodfarm.com/

Clicking on first event brings me to this page but no details being displayed.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

As a follow up to this posting, I removed the events list from the widget sidebar as I didn’t want visitors to click and end up on a blank page. Hopefully this can be sorted out.

The events are still there, here is the same one:

    You’re using a different event management plug-in it seems…

Hi Stephen, I have been trying yours and another, I can go activate yours now and maybe you can have another look?

    thanks

I now have the events list and events calendar set up as widgets on the sidebar, hopefully that would help.

If I click on an date on the calendar, March 3rd for eg, (one event), the page opens up ok

the link to event detail still gives a blank page, the link to the venue is good, opens up the google map.

It seemed to be happening with the other plug-in installed to – so I think its a problem with the theme. Does your theme have an single-event.php template file? If not can you post your single.php template file on bitbucket (if for licensing reasons you can’t, you can e-mail it to me instead).

    Hi Steven,

    I found a single.php content-single.php, loop-single.php but nothing about events.

Any of these what we need?

    single.php and content-single.php are probably the ones we’re after…

Incidently have you tried switching to TwentyEleven – if the events page displays correctly, it’ll confirm my hunch that the problem lies in the theme…

I have the files, how do I email them to you? (BTW, I have Twenty Twelve installed now, it does work but I prefer the other theme if we could get it to work).

    thanks
