As reported here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/is_feed-called-incorrectly-2/#post-12136490 I’m seeing a PHP notice as follows throughout the frontend and backend (WordPress 5.3, Event Organiser 3.8.5, WP_DEBUG set to TRUE):

Notice: is_feed was called incorrectly. Conditional query tags do not work before the query is run. Before then, they always return false. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.1.0.) in /var/www/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4903

Deactivating the Event Organiser plugin removes the error.

Thanks for reporting this, I’ve fixed this in the 3.8.6 update.
