Submit Your Event When editing an event, can the website field with content show up on the detail page?
Currently I have to assign a venue and put the website url in the description field and then add it to my page to show the link.

Also on the FES form, how do you keep ‘http://’ from disappearing when a person starts to type in the URL? I would like it to stay because people using a mobile device find it hard to type in. (‘http://’)

    Hi Karen,

The ‘http://’ is only a placeholder, so no.

However, I think the requirement of a protocol for the URL to be valid is perhaps too strict, so I shall loosen that requirement.

In the mean time, if you are not too bothered about whether the URL is valid you could use a generic input field.

Regarding displaying custom fields which are provided by users submitting the field, please see: http://wp-event-organiser.com/forums/topic/textform-dont-show-up-in-public/
