in calendar view booking management all amounts of tickets are false. for example instead of the correct number of tickets of 24 you can find 168 tickets.

we have a page with about 30 events and about 11 to 24 tickets for each event – if we can’t manage the correct amount of tickets we running into a catastrophy.

would be great to have some advice!

    Hi Peter,

Just a few questions. Is this the number of tickets booked, or the total number of tickets available?

Are you selling tickets by date or by series (see Settings > Event Organiser > Bookings)?

The ticket summary on the calendar view is on an event basis – can you take one example of an event where this is wrong and let me know the quantity of each ticket that has been created for that event, the dates of that event, and what you see vs what you expect.

You may also want to check, if selling by date, you’ve haven’t accidentally added the ticket to multiple dates (selected dates will appear blue in the calendar when editing the ticket).

As far as i can see we sell tickets by series.
Our events are workshops with a duration from 3 to 7 days – so, clients can only choose the whole workshop, no single days – for that reason i checked selling tickets by series.

The first event from above – on the event list page has 7 days and 24 persons 7×24 = 168. http://www.beta-bildung.de/veranstaltungen/
So i guess, selling tickets by series is not working as it should.

i justed changed it to “selling tickets by date” and it makes no difference –
Assuming that changing the ticket settings will affect all current events – right?

And yes the dates are blue. but the settings for selling tickets by series or date are global, right – or can i change them in the single event settings as well?

    Thanks Peter,

‘by series’ is the right choice for you it seems. The fact that you’re getting 7*24 as the number has helped narrow done the bug. It is (incorrectly) counting 24 for each of the 7 days rather than 24 for the entire event series (as you would expect when selling by series).

This bug only affects the admin calendar, so he events shouldn’t over-book.

There’ll be a release shortly to fix this bug.

    Thanks Stephen for that clarification..
but is there an overview of the already booked tickets for admins?

The number of booked tickets should be indicated there. Otherwise, you can do a CSV export of bookings/tickets.

The bookings admin page will also indicate how many bookings/attendees there are for the bookings matching the current filters.
