When I go to an event single date, it displays the posted date – in this case 31 July
instead of the event date 3 September

    Can you help?

    Hi Maryanne,

It would seem you’ve disabled the default templates which would normally display the event date on the page. That said, even if you enabled the templates you would still see the publication dates (in addition to the event dates). This is because unless your theme has a single-event.php, the plug-in uses the single.php template.

You could create a copy of your theme’s single.php template, call it single-event.php and replace the publication date with the event date (using, for example, eo_get_the_start() – see codex for examples).

    How could I re-enable the single-event.php?

To enable the detault templates you can use the setting at the bottom of Settings > Event Organiser > General.
