    How do you group all events by alphabetical order rather than date order?

    You can set the orderby parameter to title.

    eo_get_events() extends get_posts()/WP_Query , so you can any parameters detailed on this page: http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query in addition to the event-specific ones.
