Hi Stephen, we’ve just gone live with another site today using the pro version of your plugin.

I’ve just made a test booking myself, and all seemed fine – I progressed through PayPal, PayPal confirmed the payment. I clicked the ‘return to merchant’ button on the PayPal ‘you’ve paid’ page, and it returned me back to our client site and the ‘thank you’ page we’ve set-up.

I can see from our mail logs that the ‘you have a booking’ email was triggered to the site owner, but I, as a bookee haven’t received my email. Looking in the list of bookings, my booking is still marked as ‘pending’. Do you have any idea what’s going on in this instance?

    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

…actually Stephen, don’t worry about replying to this just yet. I’m not sure whether the client’s (recipient’s) PayPal account is set up correctly – the payment from my own PayPal account is in my account as ‘hasn’t accepted yet’.

    Hi Chris,

I think that could be the account isn’t set up to accept payments in the currency the website is sending it in.

Thanks Stephen, I’ll bear that in mind. The site is set up to use USD so your point is useful to be aware of, but it transpired that the client had crossed wires internally – their PayPal account wasn’t set up yet.
