Event Organiser iCal 1.4.1 was released earlier today. It is a very minor problem which fixes odd behaviour on installs where the user has selected to “automatically delete expired events” in Settings > Event Organiser > General.
The odd behaviour was that expired events were still imported from a feed, and would appear in the events admin page. Within 24 hours such events would be confined to the trash and eventually permanently delete, whereupon the process would start again. While this does not adversely affect the website, it’s a rather annoying and completely pointless process.
The update ignores expired events in an iCal feed, if the option to “automatically delete expired events” is checked.
