Unknown error and discount code

    I am trying to process an event and when I book the event, i get “An unknown error has occurred, you have not been charged. Please contact the webmaster”. this has happened every time someone has tried to book. gateway is through stripe and have all the keys entered in the settings.

    Hi Bryan,

    The topic title mentions discount codes – is this a problem that only occurs when a discount code is used?

    Also if you attempt payment as an admin user, an additional error message will be displayed which will provide more details of the error.

    Sorry, this is not related to discount codes. I had a separate issue with the discount code but figured it out and neglected to remove it from the topic. Sorry about that.

    I just tried to book using the admin login but still received the same message.

    Ah yes, I’ve just realised that the internal error code for both messages are the same, so only the first is displayed. I’ll be in touch via e-mail.
