First – I think this may all be related to this: https://github.com/websharks/s2member/issues/610
Have you had anyone else report problems with PayPal in the last week?
I am running Event Organiser on a client’s site. About two weeks ago, we stopped receiving booking confirmations. At the same time, many bookings started getting stuck in pending status. I have it set to only send emails when bookings are confirmed, which should happen as soon as payment completes.
Today I can see that one particular customer has 3 pending attempts at a booking, and they have one successful payment to my client’s PayPal account, but that successful payment is not reflected as a confirmed event yet. Two other customers have single successful payments on the client’s paypal account, and each show a single pending booking.
I’m really concerned that my client hasn’t been getting payment through PayPal, and that many customers are having problems completing the process or getting confirmation back to the website.

Hi Jackie,
This is a known issue (an announcement has just been made here: http://wp-event-organiser.com/blog/announcements/paypal-auto-confirmation/), and update released (1.10.4). It’s odd that you’ve been seeing this issue for as long as two weeks, as reports from other customers suggest that this issue started on the 1st July (i.e. there bookings on 30th June unaffected).
Nevertheless, I’d recommend updating as I think this will resolve the issue for you. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I’m having a similar issue on my client’s website: recipe4wellness.com I tested booking myself for an event. It brings me all the way through paypal and says that I’ve paid. However, when I check my client’s paypal account, the payment hasn’t registered in her account. She has four other clients that booked tickets for an event that are in pending status but the payment is not reflected in her paypal account. I don’t see a place where we can registered an API for paypal. All I see is the “Bookings” tab where I enter the client’s paypal email address: info@recipe4wellnes.com. I also saw there was an update released (1.10.4) …but where do I go to download the update?
Please note. I’m a new user. I purchased and downloaded Events Organizer Pro July 14, 2015

Hi Karen,
You should be able to update from within your WordPress admin area, as with any other plug-in (subject to a valid license key being provided).
Alternatively you can manually download the latest version by logging into http://wp-event-organiser.com/my-account and viewing your purchase history.
