    Hello Stephen,

I am using the ENFOLD theme with Event Organiser Pro and WPML.

When I am using the shortcode [eo_events] , my sidebar displays the widgets with no problem
but when I am using the [event_search] shortcode, my sidebar displays the default page widget (just like when no sidebar has been set).

Any idea of what can cause this ?

I can provide you with links and credentials in private if you need to check it out…

    Thank you,

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Are you just using the shortcode on a page? The [eo_events] and [event_search] shortcodes when used in a page’s content, shouldn’t affect which widgets (if any) appear on the page.

Some themes (and there are plug-ins that allow you to do this also), also allow you to enable widgets on a per-page basis. Perhaps that could explain it? If not, feel free to get in touch via this form with details of your site and I’ll take a look.
