Hey Stephen Harris,
I just bought the “Event Organiser ICAL Sync” and tried to sync my Calender from here:
http://mail.piratenfraktion-sh.de:8081/caldav/ukoenig
It is generated via Zarafa.
I get the following Error:
[Zeile 490] Falsche Angabe für datetime "00)":20140712T100000". Datum muss entweder im YYYYMMDDTHHiissZ oder YYYYMMDDTHHiiss Format vorliegen.
[Zeile 490] Unknown timezone "(GMT +01" interpreted as "UTC".

Hi Uli,
Thanks, I’ll take a look at this. Clearly it’s splitting the lin
"(GMT +01:00)":20140712T100000
into "(GMT +01
and 00)":20140712T100000
rather than "(GMT +01:00)"
and 20140712T100000
. I’ll post an update here.

Hi Uli,
It seems TZID should not contain quotation marks or colons. Regardless, in the next update, the “Invalid declaration for datetime” error should not appear.
The other warnings will appear, but these are just informational and while you should be aware of them, they can otherwise be ignored.
I’ve opened up an issue here (along with a patch), and it’ll be in the 2.8 release.

Hey Stephen Harris,
when will the 2.8 release be released?
I can’t use the “Event Organiser ICAL Sync” without this update.
Or can you provide a pre release?

Hi Uli,
There are some changes still due for 2.8, so it maybe up to two weeks. However, the development version of EO is available on GitHub. Beta shall be released in about a week.

Hey Stephen Harris,
i just patched the includes/class-eo-ical-parser.php from Github. Now I get a new error, while using the same iCal source as mentioned above.
[Zeile 1252] Duplicate UID (040000008200E00074C5B7101A82E00800000000435DF29B73A5A5CA37979B543DA311DF71BBF3BEBA71EF92B726B3C727A7C96B05BB0679) found in feed. UIDs must be unique.

Just an update here, the latest version of Event Organiser (2.8.*) addresses both the issue of quoted timezones and duplicate UIDs in the feed.
